Good Morning From Kentucky...

We arrived at Camp AJ last night around 8pm.  It was a LONG 12 hours in the car, but we survived.  Once at camp we had a late dinner and then got set up in our dorms.

I am so thankful to have arrived safely.  I am so thankful to be spending the week at my favorite place in the world.  I am so thankful for the experiences/adventures/moments that lie ahead of us in the next 6 days.

As I sit here in silence and drink my coffee there are many thoughts running through my head.

I am thinking about all of those people each of us left back in Wisconsin...
Do they miss us?  What are they up to?  Are they excited for spring break?  Will we inspire them by the work that we are doing down here?
I am thinking about each of the 9 youth that I brought along with me, still asleep in their beds...
Are they ready for this adventure to really begin?  What will they learn this week?  How will their lives be touched?  Will this trip truly inspire them?

I am thinking about the people that we will be working for this week...
What is on their hearts?  Are they ready to spend 4 days with some energetic Wisconsin teenagers? What will they teach these kids?  How will these kids touch their lives?

  1. Yes! We do miss you! Each and every one of you are teaching the rest of us what it means to help your fellow man. It is a treat to read the posts everyone makes and I cannot wait to read more. Happy Easter!
