Red Team had an AWESOME day! Jasmine worked the hammer, Tony kept the crew in line, Dan dug holes and Amber did everything. We have two crew leaders, Caitlin and Colleen. I will post a couple pics of them tonight. Our participant is an elderly lady that is not able to walk outside of her home on her own because the porch is too high off of the ground...too many stairs. So we are building a ramp in the hopes of liberation!
The kids have had a good time mingling with the other volunteers that are staying at camp with us. The other kids are from New Jersey and there are about 21 of them. Tonight we are having a folk singer come and share some music with us, Mitch Barrett - he is awesome!
Ok all - be well and thanks for checking out the blog!
Drew
Also a big "HELLO!" to the SJMS crew!
