Super Dooper Excited

Hey, my name is Nicole, I'm super dooper excited to go down to Kentucky over spring break. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and especially being able to help out other people who are in need of help. I am excited to see the difference between people in Kentucky compared to people in Wisconsin, to see their similarities and differences. I also I'm hoping to get better people skills and begin to not take everything I have for granted.

My name is Antonio, I am extremely excited about going on this trip. Last year was a blast and that is the reason why I cannot wait to go back to Kentucky this year with a semi new crew. I am looking forward to making a positive difference in someones life. I love the fact that the simplest of things make someone feel so special. It reminds me that I don't have it that bad and that I should not take things for granted. I am glad that I get to go because it is truly an honor and a privilege to go on this trip and I like spending time with my Youth Go family! (:

Who is so excited?

Hey, I'm Bre!! I cannot believe that we are leaving so soon!! I'm super excited about getting to experience other cultures and what goes on in Kentucky. I am absolutely looking forward to being able to make a difference in other peoples lives. I am so fortunate to be able to have this experience with Youth Go and all the other youth that are going along with me. Thanks

Hi I'm Derrick  I am 18 years old this will be my third year going on this trip. I am super exited about going. I enjoy getting to help the people  and the new things we will learn about each other on this trip. The thing I'm am looking forward to the most is the drive down seeing all the scenery and listening to each others CD's in the van. I also look forward to learing more about the new people going on the trip with me.

Hello I'm Amber, I am 17 years old; this will be my 3rd year going on this trip. I'm excited to go on this trip because I get to help people and I also get to make new friendships. I am thrilled that I was chosen to go because it is a once in a life time experience that I get to spend with friends. Through this experience, I hope to encourage other youth to get involved in their communities.

I'm super excited for this trip because, I love to help people that need it, and I want to learn more about Kentucky. I'm looking forward to helping people, and having fun with my Youth Go buddies. I'm glad I get to go because, I get to learn about Kentucky and help others. I can't wait for this trip!!!!!!

My name is Melanie and I'm 16 years old. This is my second year participating in the Spring Break Service Trip to Kentucky. This experience means the world to me and I feel so lucky to be able to attend. I'm grateful for everyone that has been kind enough to donate or support this cause in any way. I am looking forward to making a positive impact in the lives of others not only in Kentucky, but here in Wisconsin as well. I hope to inspire others to do the same. This trip is a life changing experience and I'm so excited to go!

My name is Gabriella and I am 17 years old. I am so thrilled to be able to go on this trip with Youth Go to work with the Christian Appalachian Project. Being selected to go on this trip is such a honor. I strive to help others and I can't wait to spend my spring break doing just that. This will be my second year going and I can't wait to get to know the others going better and watch the difference that we are making in others lives. Thank you all for being so supportive. This trip is truly a life changing experience for not only the people that are going, but also for the people that we are helping in Kentucky.  :)

Hello, my name is Jasmine. I'm 16 years old and so excited to go to Kentucky on the spring break service trip with Youthgo and the Christian Appalachian Project. I am looking forward to seeing the changes in the work we do and looks on the faces of people after we are finished. I'm so extremely happy and honored  to get to go and work on this project. I hope I can show and project my enthusiasm, dedication and hard-working ethics during this trip. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and I hope you all are supportive.

We want to share our journey with you!

We are so excited to depart on this trip in just a little over 2 weeks!  We wanted to set up a blog so that our families, friends, and supporters could "travel" down to Kentucky with us to see how we are making a difference, keep an eye on how we are doing, and watch us learn and grow!

We will continue to post over the next two weeks about our preparations and our excitement.  While we are in Kentucky, we hope to post thoughts, words, and hopefully video every day!  Stay tuned!
