Well, today we got a lot done in both groups. The purple, as you have already met, and the red group, which consists of Drew, Jasmine, Dan, Antonio, and Amber (myself). The red crew is also working on a ramp and a deck We have almost finished laying the ramp and have started on the deck. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done, but I enjoy doing it with the people who are on this trip. The people from New Jersey are cool people and we are having a duel with accents..... it's a blast and all in good fun. There are a lot of nice sites to see and many trails to run/hike depending on what you feel like doing. I have gotten together a posse of Dan, Nicole, Gabby and myself. We all go for a run at some point in the day since I have to condition for track and they all just want to better their lives. Today on the work site, I almost smacked Dan in the face with a shovel on accident, but it turned out to be a really funny story to tell. Today I had a lot of time to talk with everyone on the trip, and it allowed me to become closer with some people that I never though I would. This trip has opened my eyes to how I can help people and not have to worry about making a fool of myself. I'm really excited yet sad all at the same time because I got to come on this amazing trip with the most amazing people, but as I sit here and reflect on what has happened and what is yet to happen it has dawned on me that this is my last year and this will be an amazing memory to go home with.
