Happy Birthday Drew!

Today was an outstanding day from start to finish. Not only was it Drew's 30th birthday but we finished laying down all of the boards for our 64 ft long ramp that we where helping build to bring home an older lady who is currently staying in a nursing home waiting to come home to her loving husband who is excitedly waiting for her return. (: 

Us girls (Nicole, Kelly, Bre, and Mel and myself) got to have some "girly" bonding time while Derrick cut the boards for the ramp like a pro! It was one of the best parts of the day for sure. 

Before our evening refection we got to listen to two singers Mitch and Owen. Also Owen's handy son Sid helped lead a skit which was a lot of fun. All of their music had amazing life stories and I didn't want it too end. I'm glad we got to end our night with such a fun thing. 

Sadly our trip is half way over. Even though I miss you all dearly I wish we could stay longer and help more. :) Hope you're week is treating you well!!
